With an emphasis on inclusivity, mutual collaboration, respect for sovereignty, and peaceful resolution of disputes, the ‘Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence’ have become the general principles of international law and the basic norms of contemporary international relations.
To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of its pronouncement, this Colloquium sets out to reflect and deliberate on Asia’s contribution in the past and the future with three foci i.e. ‘Belt and Road Initiative’, ‘Partnership in Trade Relation’ and ‘Mediation’.
