CharIN (Charging Interface Initiative e. V.) consists of cross-industry stakeholders like electrical vehicle manufacturers (for land, underground, air, sea transportation), charging station manufacturers, component suppliers, energy providers, grid operators, IT companies, and many others continue to support towards interoperable charging, where vehicles, chargers, grids, renewables and software systems work together to make the user experience reliable, easy and smooth.
Its international community is comprised of leading global companies representing every link to the E-mobility value chain, and multiple experts who have been working together as a team to drive the requirements of charging for all kinds of electric vehicles, that are used for land transport, mining, marine & aviation industries, but also for charging and discharging BESS & V2G applications.
