Phenix by OnTheList is a joint venture between OnTheList, a Hong Kong-based member only flash sales now implemented in six Asian countries, and Phenix, a French company aiming to live in a world without food waste, with its application now implemented in six European countries and saving on 120,000 meals per day from wastage.
Phenix by OnTheList launched Phenix application in Hong Kong in February 2021. The company aims to connect food and beverage companies to the consumers by selling their unsold food of the day at a discounted price. App users can purchase food baskets from these merchants, and pick up on the same day.
Phenix by OnTheList team has six staff after five months of operation. It plans to tackle the food waste management issue in Hong Kong by collaborating with as many food and beverage partners as possible. Hong Kong is the first location in implementing the application in Asia.
