JP Maritime Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 2021 by Jay K Pillai, who has taken a senior management role in renowned shipping companies in Hong Kong and led ship management and new building teams. Pillai developed a techno-commercial approach in shipping and inspired his teams both on shore and on ships to operate ships with a robust safety culture and achieve operational excellence.
The company provides marine consultancy services to the top management of ship owners, managers and operators. Its services include: providing change management, strategy, innovation and projects enhancing the returns on maritime assets and bottom line; setting effective crewing, repair and maintenance strategies to maintain the ships in mint condition; setting KPIs for loss prevention; managing the regulatory landscape, energy efficiency, technical and commercial operations, and IMO’s 2030 and 2050 goals; and conducting leadership and change management seminars and coaching for staff on shore and at sea.
