Invest Hong Kong announced today (30 October 2024) that the Chinese tea chain To Teapresso officially opened its first store in Tsim Sha Tsui, aiming to leverage Hong Kong to strengthen its global brand awareness and expand into overseas market.

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang said, "Hong Kong offers multiple advantages of doing business which have attracted many tea chains to enter the local market. To Teapresso’s expansion in Hong Kong will accelerate the growth of the local tea industry. I wish them continued success in Hong Kong and beyond."

According to the Brand Founder and CEO of To Teapresso, Mr Leo Lv, overseas expansion has always been part of the plan since the brand’s establishment. He said, "Hong Kong is an international trade hub, offering advantages and more opportunities for our business operations. The city’s unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures aligns well with To Teapresso’s brand essence, making Hong Kong our top choice for launching our overseas business."

He added, "The Hong Kong office currently focuses on international business in the Asia-Pacific region, including our expansion and operation in Hong Kong and Macau. We are also accelerating our overseas expansion plans, aiming to open more stores in Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and Australia within the next 18 months."

To Teapresso combines Chinese tea with extraction techniques, creating "Chinese Tea Latte" by blending the extracted tea with fresh milk. The brand currently operates 20 stores in the Mainland.
