Mainland dumpling chain Sanjin Tangbao expands in Hong Kong

Invest Hong Kong announced today (25 November 2024) that Mainland dumpling chain Sanjin Tangbao has officially opened its second store in Sham Shui Po. The brand plans to leverage Hong Kong for its overseas expansion, aiming to establish 300 stores within the next five years.

The Marketing Director of Sanjin Tangbao, Mr Li Dapeng, revealed that the success of the first store has strengthened the brand’s determination to expand in Hong Kong. He said, “We are committed to offering high-quality food and services to local consumers. This is why we offer new food items, such as fried rice and fried noodles, to cater to consumers’ needs. We are glad that Sanjin Tangbao is widely appreciated."

He added, “We hope to leverage Hong Kong as a platform to go global. Therefore, we plan to open more stores in Hong Kong by next year to enhance our brand awareness. Our long-term goal is to build a network of 300 stores overseas within five years.”

Established in 2014, Sanjin Tangbao specialises in fresh, handmade dumplings. The brand now has over 7,300 franchises across Mainland China, with operations spanning six provinces – Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, and Jiangxi.
