Israel-based leading diamond technology company expands Hong Kong regional headquarters to tap Greater Bay Area opportunities

Sarine Technologies Ltd. a worldwide leader in the development, manufacturing and sale of precision technology products for the evaluation, planning, processing, grading and trading of diamonds and gems, announced today (25 August 2021) that it has expanded its regional headquarters in Hong Kong with an enhanced staff force and a new office premises in Central Plaza as part of the regional development strategy.

The announcement of the expansion came ahead of the JNA (JewelleryNet) webinar on September 1, in which Sarine CEO Mr David Block will join a panel discussion on diamond traceability. Other prominent industry leaders will also join the webinar.

For more than 3 decades Sarine’s developments have recreated the way the diamond industry operates, from rough planning and optimization, to inclusion mapping, AI - based automated grading. Sarine is calling on its legacy and reigniting it for a new era in diamond traceability and retail technology.

Managing Director APAC, Mr Noy Elram, said that as the group foresees Greater China will become the biggest market in the near future, it is expanding the Hong Kong team to leverage the city’s advantageous position within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

He said, “GBA has already become one of the world’s biggest jewellery production bases, trade collection and distribution centres. We see great potential in the industry and hope to partner with more GBA diamond jewellery retailers via Hong Kong office.
