InvestHK has been given the Comendador Ambrose So Award from the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Abacus Award from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
The Comendador Ambrose So Award is handed out biennially to commend citizens, companies and entities that have distinguished themselves by their achievements and/or contributions in the context of business relations between Portugal and Hong Kong. The Abacus Award is given every year to recognise a corporation or member who has made a great contribution to the Spanish Chamber of Commerce throughout the years.
The Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, Mr Stephen Phillips, said, "Staying in close touch with overseas business communities in Hong Kong is a key part of our work. We are honoured to receive these two awards, which are a testament to the strong relationship we have forged with these chambers.
"We have a strategic team specialised in chamber engagement and these two awards are an acknowledgement of their efforts. Going forward, we will continue to connect with different chambers and via many other channels to collect the latest about different business communities in Hong Kong," he added.
