Over the next five years, Hong Kong will strengthen its strategic positioning as “Four Centres and One Hub” — an international financial centre, maritime centre and aviation hub, trade centre, innovation and technology (I&T) centre, and talent hub. The city will also accelerate the development of the Northern Metropolis (NM), and deepen its integration into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area while building an international collaboration network.
To support these goals, InvestHK will step up its efforts to attract a broader range of companies, capital and talent to Hong Kong. It will also help Mainland enterprises use the city to expand globally, fostering a two-way flow of “bringing in” and “going global”. Collaborating with various policy bureaux, government departments and the “Hong Kong Team”, we will focus on three key directions: driving high-quality growth through key industries, leveraging Hong Kong’s advantages to help Mainland enterprises expand overseas and fostering new growth momentum via spatial and industrial synergy.
