Driving the next wave of global tech, Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK will take place from 2-6 November across the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and multiple venues. Organised by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB), the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau (CEDB) and InvestHK, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and the Insurance Authority, this event is built around three core growth engines: Finance+,AI+ and going-global expansion.
Finance+
The Finance+ initiative leverages Hong Kong’s position as a leading global financial centre to power tech-driven innovation. By connecting deep institutional and private capital with high-growth tech ventures, it creates a thriving ecosystem where traditional finance and cutting-edge technology converge. Established market players bring essential risk governance, global reach, and regulatory expertise, while FinTech pioneers challenge the status quo to build the financial solutions of tomorrow.
AI+
Positioned at the core of financial and industrial transformation, AI+ drives Hong Kong’s intelligence economy. Mapping the digital-physical infrastructure, it explores autonomous AI agents, physical AI, robotics, and emerging frontiers like quantum computing and space tech. By embedding this intelligence into global financial systems, AI+ redefines FinTech.
