China Conference: Central Asia 2026 arrives in Astana at a pivotal moment for Eurasian connectivity, as Kazakhstan advances its Kazakhstan‑2050 vision and cements its role as a key hub on the Trans‑Caspian Middle Corridor between China and Europe. Convened prior to the Astana Finance Days with the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), it brings together policymakers, sovereign and institutional investors, mining and infrastructure executives, technology innovators and financiers from Central Asia, China, the Gulf and Europe to examine the next phase of China–Central Asia cooperation.
The programme focuses on the macroeconomic and diplomatic realignment of a multi‑polar Eurasia, the deployment of Chinese technology and global capital to build smarter, greener mines, the rise of AIFC, Astana International Exchange (AIX) and Hong Kong as dual hubs for listings and RMB funding, and the financing and operation of Middle Corridor rail, port and logistics assets as a new strategic trade artery. Through plenary panels, focused expert discussions and sponsor‑led closed‑door roundtables, the conference offers a platform to shape policy, forge cross‑border business connections and turn Central Asia’s infrastructure and resource projects into bankable opportunities.
