HERA is a non-profit initiative that was established in 2018 to recognize and showcase sustainability reporting best practices among corporates in Hong Kong. This year, the initiative is sponsored by InvestHK and supported by organisations such as the Hong Kong Environment and Ecology Bureau, Financial Services Development Council, Hong Kong Green Finance Association, and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
To ensure the highest possible objectivity in selecting award recipients, an independent panel of distinguished judges from diverse industries are appointed to evaluate the reports. Winners will enjoy an award trophy, a distinct awards logo for their marketing purposes, as well as digital and print media exposure on ESGN.asia and future HERA publications.
In addition to the above, all participants will be given a two-year HERA community membership. In line with facilitating events and partnerships which inspire positive impacts, HERA members will gain access to an invaluable network of listed companies and trusted advisors offering ESG-related professional resources and services. Membership benefits include networking gateways through the awards Forum, and access to visibility opportunities through features in HERA reports.
Through HERA, stakeholders in Hong Kong are equipped with reliable sustainability knowledge, accelerating the uptake of sustainability practices. All winners will be announced in the annual HERA Forum, scheduled to be held on October 26 from 9am to 2pm at the Hyatt Regency, Tsim Tsa Tsui.
