Japanese logistics company adds new freezer warehouse in Hong Kong

Japanese logistics company, Meisei Corporation, announced today (17 September 2019) that it has expanded operation with a new freezer warehouse aimed at offering more all-rounded logistic support to a growing clientele in Hong Kong.

The company first landed Hong Kong’s logistics market with the establishment of Meisei Hong Kong Limited in 2002 and since then business has continued to grow steadily. Managing Director of Meisei Hong Kong Limited, Mr Hisashi Kodama, said it is important time for the company to find new paths in order to continue the growth momentum.

He said, “The imported food market in Hong Kong is huge but there are relatively few refrigerated warehouses on offer. In light of this, our company decided to open a new freezer warehouse in Fo Tan district, which has a strategic advantage with good transport connectivity to ensure speedy delivery of products to clients.”

He added that the new warehouse has cutting-edge facilities including a real-time online inventory management system. Customers can access the system on a 24-hour basis to check and control their inventory in a timely manner.
