Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is looking for a motivated and energetic student to join its Sustainability Team as summer intern.
Duties
- To assist in collating information on business opportunities, government policies and infrastructure projects, etc.;
- To provide support for delegations and events, including preparation of guest lists and invitation, stakeholder communications, logistics and procurement, etc.;
- To assist in developing and updating databases on client profiles and cases;
- To support research projects, including survey implementation, project progress monitoring and data collection and analysis;
- To assist in developing and updating the contents of marketing and promotional materials on departmental websites and social media platforms; and
- To perform any other duties as assigned.
Entry Requirements
- Student currently enrolled in a full-time degree course (or equivalent), preferably in the stream of business, finance, environmental management/ science, ecology or communications;
- Proficient in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Knowledge in other languages is an advantage; and
- Proficient in English and Chinese word processing, and the application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Period of Internship
Two to three months, starting from June/July 2026.
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms. Except otherwise provided in the appointment letter, rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

Hong Kong students studying at tertiary institutions outside of Hong Kong (excluding students of local tertiary institutions who are currently participating in exchange programmes at tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong) who wish to participate in the Programme are required to submit the following items to the email address job@investhk.gov.hk on or before 26 March 2026, 5:00 p.m. (Hong Kong time):
- a standard application form available at the Civil Service Bureau’s website (please indicate your results of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or equivalent in the application form, especially Chinese Language and English Language);
- an application letter setting out in detail why the applicant considers himself/ herself suitable for the position; and
- a full curriculum vitae (CV).
Applications not using the above-mentioned application form, without any of the above or late submission will not be processed.
As notifications will be sent to applicants by email, applicants should provide an accurate email address in their application. Applicants are responsible for checking their emails to ensure that notification(s) could be duly received.
