Project Assistant

Salary: HK$20,000 per month 
(Ref: PA/01/2022)

We are hiring an enthusiastic and bright candidate to contribute to strengthening the various key sectors of the Hong Kong economy.  You will work closely with the lifestyle and creative industries (LCI) cluster of Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), performing a wide range of investment promotion activities both physically and digitally, to attract and retain strategically important foreign direct investments for Hong Kong.

Duties
(i)    To provide administrative support to officers in the LCI cluster during and after the relaunch period, such as the new initiatives of InvestHK and the Government;
(ii)    To produce high-quality marketing materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, brochures and flyers, and digital sales messages) based on rebranding and ongoing changing ecosystem and clear propositions of Hong Kong as an investment destination;
(iii)    To organise and support marketing campaigns (e.g., webinars/ virtual investment promotion visits, physical seminars/ investment promotion visits, and other relevant business events), facilitate cross-team collaboration and communications with external stakeholders, and actively participate in lead generation through events and conferences; and
(iv)    To perform market research, compile management reports, coordinate returns and submissions, and support the smooth operation of the team.

Entry Requirements
(a)    A Bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, preferably in a business-related discipline;
(b)    Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).  Knowledge in other languages is an advantage;
(c)    Good skills of English and Chinese typing, Mircosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
(d)    Good knowledge of digital and social media marketing.

Terms of Appointment 
Successful applicant will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months.  

Fringe Benefits
(a)    An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period; and
(b)    Applicant appointed will be granted 14 days of annual leave.  Other benefits, such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/ paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.
